- ★ ★ ★ ☆ ☆The Kettle Valley Trail from Pemberton to Tulameen is filled with beautiful scenery but the trail itself is mostly loose gravel which can be difficult for riding a bike. We were also interrupted by quads and motorbikes which appeared to be fairly common judging by the ruts and tracks on the trail. We take our off-road tandem bike to trails all over the Pacific Northwest and Washington has much better rail to trail conversions and are better at keeping the motorized vehicles off the trail. The loose gravel made me have to mostly concentrate on keeping the bike steady instead of taking in the beautiful scenery. It might be better suited to mountain bikes. Several areas of the trail were in need of repair too. The Princeton Visitor center was a great place to get changed and find out about any fire warnings.By Andrik Moe, April 08, 2017
