Choose this coffee shop over the other one in town based on the reviews. The white haired woman that helped us wasn't having the best day and was rude. I inquired about my coffee options and she replied that it's not Starbucks. But it is a coffee house? Even though we waited 25 min for our breakfast witch seems on the long side, the lady that brought it out was nice. Overall I wouldn't return.

We stopped here before 6 am on our way from Hope to the Apex ski area. It was open early, the baked goods were nice, and the coffee was reasonably decent (certainly the best we've found in that stretch) . We'll probably stop by on our next pass through.

Great cooking! If you're in a hurry grab something from the show case but the food is worth waiting for.
